Hot Dogs – Chicago Style!

Chicago-style hot dog, Chicago Dog, or “dragged through the garden”, whatever term you prefer to use is fine with us as long as it’s ketchup free!

First sold at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago and then perfected on Maxwell Street, it remains a steadfast gourmet tradition in our fair city. Nothing says Chicago like a plump, all-beef hot dog steamed to perfection, settled in a fresh poppy seed bun, and stacked sky high with the best condiments we have to offer. Bright yellow mustard, chopped white onions, green sweet pickle relish, a kosher dill pickle spear, tomato wedges, pickled sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt combine to help make the perfect experience.

Not just a regular hot dog, there’s an art to this delicious tradition. For ultimate taste, always put on condiments in this order:

  1. Yellow Mustard
  2. Green Relish
  3. Chopped Onions
  4. Tomato Wedges
  5. Pickle Spear
  6. Sport Peppers
  7. Dash of Celery Salt

As the city that brought you deep dish pizza, Chicago-style thin crust, juicy Italian Beef sandwiches, premium steakhouses, gourmet popcorn and more, we know a thing or two about great taste.
